About

I am a teacher, husband and father of three children. I haven’t had time to do much of anything aside from attempting to maintain my sanity. I have strong interests in music, food and photography – not to mention tennis and volleyball. I haven’t had much time to delve deeply into any one of those lately. Music has become streaming in the background to give me something I can reach out my ears and grab when the din in the house gets too loud. Cooking has become more of a chore than a pleasure with the time crunch of soccer practice and HW help. Photography has been non-existent, save for the occasional iPhone shot showing a glimmer of potential.

My intention is to use this Blog as an avenue to reflect on and share my rekindled efforts in photography. This summer I purchased a new Panasonic G6 Micro Four Thirds camera with a 12-42mm lens, as well as, a 45-175mm telephoto zoom lens to get me started. I’m hoping this trip to Melbourne, Australia will serve as a catalyst to reignite this passion. Then eventually also branch out to the realms of music and food.
